Astros exercise Jason Michaels’ option

The Houston Astros told reporters (via MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart) that they will exercise the $900,000 for outfielder Jason Michaels, but this was not confirmed by Wade.

Michaels, 34, hit .254/.313/.470 in 105 games for the Astros in 2010.
